Mermaid Lagoon

 This is my piece for the Peter Pan & Wendy exhibit for Susanita's Little Gallery. http://www.susanitaslittlegallery.com/. Making a piece for Peter Pan's Mermaid Lagoon has been a fantasy of mine since I was a little girl. This exhibit is not based on the Disney film but on J.M. Barrie's novel Peter Pan & Wendy. After reading the book, and I have already watched the Disney film about 100 times, I was very surprised to know that Disney took just about every detail from the novel, even the dog as a nurse maid was from the book.
